Blind-on-Blind Collision Results in Bonomo Taking a Walk

Level 16 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Justin Bonomo limped the small blind and Igor Kurganov took just a brief moment before he moved all in. Bonomo called without hesitation for his 965,000 stack and would be the player at risk of elimination.

Justin Bonomo: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Igor Kurganov: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The flop was that of a one-sided affair as the dealer peeled off {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}, hitting Kurganov with an ace to take the lead. A {6-Diamonds} came down as the turn card and Bonomo was now drawing to a snowman to keep his night going.

The {10-Diamonds} completed the board and Kurganov's flopped ace held on for the pot, eliminating Bonomo from the tournament just six shy of the money.

Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Justin Bonomo raised to 120,000 from the hijack with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, and Alfred DeCarolis called on the button with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Mikita Badziakouski moved all in for 2,035,000 from the small blind with {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and Nick Petrangelo looked down at {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} in the big blind.

Petrangelo folded, as did Bonomo, but DeCarolis called.

The flop fell {9-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}, and Badziakouski found himself in horrible shape. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn sealed his fate before the {6-Hearts} hit the river.

The partypoker pro departed in 18th place, while DeCarolis moved up to 3,870,000.

Kenney Sends Tony G to the Sidelines

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Tony Guoga
Tony Guoga

Tony G had moved all of his remaining 735,000 stack in the middle before the flop and found a caller in Bryn Kenney. The two turned over their hands and Tony G was ahead.

Tony G: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Bryn Kenney: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

A devastating flop fell for the Lithuanian when the dealer fanned out {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Kenney now had the lead. A {9-Spades} fell as the turn card, meaning Tony G could only win if he caught a cowboy.

The river came down a {q-Clubs} and Tony G instantly left the tournament area, muttering some words of frustration on his way out of the door.

Rajkumar Extends Lead After Eliminating Liang

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Yu Liang
Yu Liang

Timothy Adams opened to 125,000 from middle position, Vivek Rajkumar called in the cutoff, Ferdinand Putra called on the button, and Yu Liang elected to push in a four-bet of 425,000.

Rajkumar was the only player to call the raise and the two went heads-up to the {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Liang checked to Rajkumar who pushed in 350,000 and Liang quickly called to see the {10-Spades} turn card.

Again Liang checked and again Rajkumar pushed in a bet, this time for 850,000. Liang used four time extension cards but ultimately he did call and the {q-Clubs} landed as a river.

Liang checked to Rajkumar who slammed in a stack of chips, putting Liang all-in. After a moment of thought, Liang called for his last 770,000 and Rajkumar swiftly tabled {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a set of sevens. Liang stood up from the table while he mucked his cards, sending the massive pot to Rajkumar who again took over the chip lead.

Danny Tang
Danny Tang

Danny Tang raised to 90,000 from under the gun holding {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, and Aaron Zang called from the next seat with {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

Chin Wei Lim was next to act and folded {a-}{q-} before Bill Perkins called on the button holding {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

Tong G looked down at {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} in the big blind and called before the flop fell {2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Zang bet 150,000 after the action checked to him, and only Tang called.

The {a-Diamonds} hit the turn, and Tang checked again. Zang thought before he fired 290,000 and Tang moved all in for 1,755,000. Zang snap-called and Tang saw the bad news.

Tang stood from his seat in shock, and when the {2-Diamonds} hit the river, he was eliminated,
