Ribouchon Doubles Through Tran
Level 6
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Picking up the action on the A♥J♠8♥3♥ turn, Florian Ribouchon in the small blind checked and Duc Tuan Tran bet 35,000 from an earlöy position. Ribouchon then used one time bank before he moved all-in and Tran asked for a count.
The shove was for 189,000 and Tran called.
Florian Ribouchon: Q♥10♥
Duc Tuan Tran: 10♣9♦
The table was somewhat surprised when they saw Tran behind, who exclaimed "seven or queen". Neither came with the 4♠ river and queen-high beat ten-high for the double.
"Nice value bet," Eric Tsai joked to Ribouchon.
