Chih-Yuan Wang raised it up to 225,000 off a stack of 24 big blinds and then peeled a three-bet to 575,000 by Jun Obara in the cutoff. On the A♥9♠4♠ flop, Wang led for 200,000 and Obara raised to 475,000 for Wang to call.
The J♠ came on the turn and Wang jammed for some 1.6 million, Obara instantly called.

Wang's bottom pair were in shambles against the turned top two pair of Obara and he found no miracle escape on the 8♣ river. Other players at the table were somewhat flabbergasted and Nang Quang Nguyen smirked, then said "merry Christmas" to Obara.
