Once Upon a Matsuda Double
Level 24
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Dajie Zhuo opened to 500,000 in the cutoff and Naohiro Matsuda to come along out of the big blind. The K♠8♥5♥ flop was checked by Matsuda, Zhuo bet 500,000 and was check-raised to 1,300,000. Zhuo pushed all-in with the covering stack and Matsuda called.
Naohiro Matsuda: K♥8♦
Dajie Zhuo: K♦10♠
Matsuda's top two pair were out in front and he needed to avoid a ten. On the J♥ turn, Zhuo picked up a few further outs but the 9♦ river was not among them.
