Triton Brings Mystery Bounty Format to $50K PLO Event
Another four-card title will be up for grabs on Tuesday in Montenegro with the start of the $50,000 PLO Mystery Bounty. Cards go in the air at 5 p.m. local time for the two-day event.
The tournament features a fast-paced structure with 35-minute levels, while players will begin with a deep 200,000-chip starting stack, good for 200 big blinds at the opening level.
Late registration remains open until the end of Level 10 with Day 1 scheduled to conclude after Level 13.
Day 1 Structure
While the mystery bounty format is new to this particular event in Montenegro, last year’s $50K PLO event still attracted a stacked field of 62 entries and generated a $3,100,000 prize pool.
Richard Gryko eventually came out on top, defeating Martin Dam heads-up to claim $884,000.
The final table also featured Danny Tang, Eelis Parssinen, Klemens Roiter, Dirk Gerritse and Triton co-founder Paul Phua.
