Espen Jorstad memorably won the WSOP Main Event in 2022. But the victory, which netted him $10 million and a gold bracelet, didn't come without some difficult decisions.

The champion, in a GTO Wizard video, broke down the ICM implications of his decisions along the way at the final table four years ago.

Kardash Eliminated by Eisen's Set

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Erik Eisen raised to 4,500 on the button, seeing Vyacheslav Kardash three-bet to 16,000 from the big blind. Eisen called to the J♦7♠6♠ flop, where Kardash continued with a 15,000 bet.

Eisen then raised to 40,000, and Kardash called. Eisen added 45,000 more to the pot on the 5♣ turn, and Kardash check-called to the 10♦ river.

After Kardash had checked again, Eisen moved all in. Kardash called off his 93,000 remaining stack, tabling [qhd] for an overpair.

However, Eisen had flopped a set with 6♦6♣, collecting the sizable pot and sending Kardash to the rail.

Bibov Busts Ostapenko

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Nikolay Bibov
Nikolay Bibov

Ruslan Galiullin opened to 4,000 in early position. Nikolay Bibov called in the hijack, but Mikhail Ostapenko had other plans and three-bet to 13,000 from the cutoff.

Galiullin and Bibov both called to the J♥9♣4♣ flop, which was checked to Ostapenko. He continued with a bet of 16,000, folding out Galiullin. However, Bibov called to the 7♠ turn, prompting Ostapenko to size down to 5,500.

Bibov flicked in more calling chips, and the dealer dealt the 7♦ as the river. Bibov led out with a massive jam, putting Ostapenko all in for 143,000.

Ostapenko eventually called off his stack, but saw his K♠K♣ had been defeated by Bibov's 8♣7♣ and departed the table.

Isachenko Triples Into Amiri

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ehsan Amiri made it 5,000 to go under the gun. Alexander Isachenko then bumped it up to 18,000 on the button, and Amiri tossed in calling chips.

Isachenko fired 15,000 into the pot on the J♦K♦K♥ flop, and followed up with a bet of 35,000 on the 4♣ turn. Amiri check-called both times, and he checked again when the Q♥ river completed the board.

Isachenko quickly moved all in for 161,500, but Amiri had seen enough and let go of his cards.

Tang Faring Better on Bullet Two

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Roman Stoika open-raised to 3,500 in the cutoff and called when Yixi Tang three-bet to 15,000 from the big blind. Tang then continued with a bet of 7,000 on the 3♣J♥7♥ flop, and Stoika called.

Tang slowed down with a check on the 3♠ turn. Stoika responded by betting 17,000, and Tang called after some time in the tank.

The 6♦ river saw Stoika bet 160,000, nearly putting his opponent all in. Tang eventually tossed in 4,000 more for an all-in raise, and Stoika instantly flicked in a calling chip.

Tang tabled J♠J♦ for top boat, besting Stoika's 6♠6♣ to rake in a sizable double-up.
