Konstantin Voronin kicked off the action with a raise to 2,500 under the gun. Grzegorz Kozieja called in the cutoff, and Jakub Sterba and Anatoly Korochenskiy defended their blinds.
It checked to Voronin on the 8♣7♦9♣ flop, and he continued with a bet of 5,000. Kozieja and Sterba folded, but Korochenskiy wanted to see a turn and called.
The 9♦ appeared, prompting Korochenskiy to lead out for 12,000. Voronin then shoved all in for 54,000, and Korochenskiy quickly called.
Konstantin Voronin: A♦8♥
Anatoly Korochenskiy: 9♥4♥
Voronin had no outs remaining against Korochenskiy's trips, and the meaningless J♠ river completed the board as Voronin exited the tournament area.
Piero Alioto raised to 2,000 in the hijack, which Teeraphat Rangkatekarn three-bet to 7,500 from the cutoff. Daniel Falus called in the small blind, and Alioto tossed in calling chips as well.
After the trio checked through the 10♣K♣J♥ flop, Falus bet 15,000 on the 5♣ turn. Alioto folded before Rangkatekarn called. Falus then overbet shoved for his last 78,000 on the J♠ river.
Rangkatekarn looked his opponent up after a bit of thought, but his Q♥Q♣ was no match for Falus' Q♦9♦. After a rough start, Falus' straight doubled him up back to a starting stack.

It's been a busy few days already at Triton ONE North Cyprus. The prestigious series is making its European debut, attracting droves of poker players to Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Spa, and enabling them to experience Triton Poker for only a fraction of the standard five-and six-figure buy-ins.
One of the highlights of the schedule is the $5,000 NLH 8-Handed Mystery Bounty, which is set to begin with Day 1a at 2 p.m. local time. Day 1a is the first of two starting flights, with Day 1b taking place on November 8. Both flights will play down to 25 percent of their respective fields, and the remaining entries will combine on November 9 for Day 2. The mystery bounties will come into play at the start of Day 2, and even more big prizes will be awarded that day, as the event will also play down to a winner on its second day.
Triton Mystery Bounties
Players who register for one of the starting flights will receive 200,000 chips. The tournament kicks off with blinds of 500/1,000 with a 1,000 big blind ante, and the levels on both Day 1a and Day 1b will be 35 minutes long. A short break is scheduled after every few levels, while the players will be sent on a 45-minute dinner break after the end of Level 7, around 6:20 p.m. local time.
Two reentries are allowed per starting flight, with registration closing at the start of Level 11: 5,000/10,000 (10,000). As can be expected from a Triton event, a shot clock will be implemented from the very start of play.
