With one level left before late registration closes in Flight 1A of Event #1: $3,000 QQPK Genesis, there's a new name atop the leaderboard with Ruslan Zhmak having already turned his 250,000 chip starting stack into close to two million.
That's because he eliminated former chip leader Artsiom Lasouski in a massive 1,600,000 chip pot.
Zhmak opened to 16,000 from under the gun and Lasouski three-bet from middle position to 48,000. Zhmak four-bet to 140,000 and Lasousik shoved for 772,000. Lasouski called to set up the massive all in.
Artsiom Lasouski: 3♥3♣
Ruslan Zhmak: Q♥Q♦
The board came 4♠10♥Q♣10♠3♦ with both players making full houses, but Zhmak's was bigger and sent Lasouski to the rail.
