Ruslan Zhmak held the chip lead in Flight 1A for quite a while, but has recently been surpassed by Mitchell Hynam, and he did it in style, with quads, eliminating Renji Mao in the process.

Mao opened for 100,000 in middle position, then Hynam jammed for 2.8 million from the small blind. After Eugene Katchalov surrendered his 50,000 big blind and got out of the way, Mao called all-in for 1.7 million with A♦K♣. It was a race against Hynam's pocket sixes.

The board ran out 2♦6♦8♣6♠A♥, which was too little, too late for Mao. His aces-up went down in flames against Hynam's quad sixes. Mao hit the rail, and Hynam hit the top of the leaderboard with more than 4.4 million.

Zhmak remains a close second with about 4.25 million.

Jessica Teusl tripled up with quads earlier today when her pocket eights quadded up in a three-way preflop all-in against pocket jacks and a suited ace-nine.
