Jon Vallinas got his last few chips in holding pocket treys, only to run into Damir Gabdullin's pocket aces in the big blind. The board brought no help for Vallinas, and he was eliminated, to the relief of the remainder of Flight 1C.

In March of this year, Vallinas had two second-place finishes in the Triton Jeju series. His runner-up finish in the $8,000 Triton ONE Main Event was good for more than $1.3 million, and he followed that up with a second in the $25,000 Super High Roller event, earning $863,000.

Vallinas currently sits in eighth place on Spain's All-Time Money List, according to The Hendon Mob.
