Bubble Bursts in $25k Titi Poker

Jun Wang
Jun Wang

Jun Wang is the unfortunate bubble boy of the $25k Titi Poker after running pocket tens into the jacks of Jingyao Yan. It was a clean runout for Yan on the 2♣Q♥5♥6♠A♠ board, and unfortunately for Yang, he had to depart short of the $43,500 min-cash.

The first exits post-bubble were that of Phil Ivey, who recorded his first cash of Triton Jeju II, and Klemens Roiter who very much didn't after he won yesterday's $20k event for his first Triton title.

28 players remain in this one, with everyone looking for a big stack ahead of tomorrow's final day. Anatoly Filatov leads the way from PLO-crusher Laszlo Bujtas.

Some Early Runners in the $25k 8-Handed

Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

We promised you big names in the $25k 8-Handed (okay, it's a Triton, so it wasn't exactly a wild stab), and the early field assembled has certainly delivered.

Adrian Mateos and Jesse Lonis are grinding away, while we've had our first sighting so far this week of Stephen Chidwick, with poker's 2nd all-time money leader here firing at this one.

Lonis has the early lead in this one, from Aleks Ponakovs and Daniel Dvoress - pretty much an all-time crusher at every table you look at.

The fifth event of the schedule has just got underway, and it's another $25,000 buyin.

We've already seen some true superstars taking their seats for this one, so it looks set to be another world-class here at the Les A Casino in Jeju.

Play is scheduled for eighteen 30-min levels today, before survivors will bag ahead of what's set to be a huge day with multiple champions crowned on Tuesday.

Bubble Nears in the $25k Titi Poker

Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

With just 39 players remaining in the $25k Titi Poker, we're getting very close to the bubble, with the top 34 players paid.

Currently in the risk zone are some of the game's biggest names, including Phil Ivey in 31st, Nick Petrangelo in 33rd, Tuck Wai Foo in 37th, while Sutthi Denvitaya currently sits at the foot of the counts in 38th.

With a $43,500 min-cash on offer, it's going to sting for whoever misses out. It should be coming up on stream shortly if you want to enjoy all the bubble antics from here in Jeju.
