To And Fro

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

It could take a cooler situation before a champion is crowned here in the Isle of Man because neither player is really giving anything away and the chips are going to and fro.

One hand saw Daniel Stacey raise to 125,000 then call a 275,000 three-bet from Paren Arzoomanian. Arzoomanian led for 305,000 but then folded to a raise to 700,000.

Neither player is shying away from playing against the other, but both are very competent and are not giving away their chips without a fight.

Nothing Really Happening

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

The two made a deal and play for "just" £5,170, but they're certainly not giving anything away. Play has gone back and forth and both players are just as aggressive from the button. No big pots as of yet, they're keeping the pots small.

Two Pair For Stacey

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Daniel Stacey reclaimed the chip lead after taking down a big pot with two pair.

Stacey started with his customary 125,000 raise from the button and Paren Arzoomanian called in the big blind. Arzoomanian check-called a 100,000 continuation bet on the {K-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop, leading the dealer to place the {3-Spades} on the turn.

Arzoomanian checked again, Stacey bet 300,000 and then called the check-raise to 700,000. Arzoomanian fired 900,000 on the {7-Hearts} river and Stacey instantly called, turning over {K-Spades}{2-Clubs}, which Arzoomanian couldn't beat.

Advantage Stacey.

Arzoomanian Rivered, Doubles Back Up

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Paren Arzoomanian
Paren Arzoomanian

Daniel Stacey opened the button for 125,000 and Paren Arzoomanian made the call. Both players checked the {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and the {7-Clubs} hit the turn. Arzoomanian bet out 150,000 and Stacey called. The river came the {Q-Diamonds} and Arzoomanian moved forward 250,000. Stacey raised to 900,000 and the decision was back on Arzoomanian.

"Did you river me again? I think you've rivered me again." Arzoomanian muttered. Despite the good read, Arzoomanian called anyway and was soon shown the nuts by Stacey; {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. "Damn river. Every time!"

Not much later though, he doubled back up. Stacey opened for 125,000 and Arzoomanian three bet to 275,000. Stacey called in position and the flop came {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Arzoomanian bet out 210,000 and Stacey called. The {4-Hearts} fell on the turn and Arzoomanian checked. Stacey now put Arzoomanian all in and got snap called.

Paren Arzoomanian: {4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Daniel Stacey: {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Stacey hat hit a double gutter on the turn and would be crowned victorious if he was able to hit an {8-} or {3-}. None of his eight outs appeared on the river. The {Q-Diamonds} completed the board and Stacey had to pay Arzoomanian an additional 1,705,000. Just about even now again, with a small edge for Arzoomanian.

Stacey Pushing Out In Front

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Daniel Stacey has extended his lead thanks to winning four consecutive pots, three of which ended preflop.

The one that saw some community cards saw Paren Arzoomanian check the {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop, Stacey bet 100,000 and Arzoomanian check-raise to 250,000. Stacey wasn't done with the hand and raised to 700,000 whcih prompted Arzoomanian to send his cards into the muck.
