Gassian Jams; Gets No Call

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

With some 5,000 in the middle to the {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{q-Spades} turn, David Gassian faced a bet of 2,000 and then opted to jam his short stack of only 7,100 into the middle. That sent his opponent into the tank and no call followed, as Gassian recovered some of the earlier losses. He remains on half of the starting stack in the second level.

Nawes Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Four ways to the {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, the action was checked by Atanas Pavlov and his table neighbour bet 1,800. Dritan Arapi called and Rafael Nawes then raised it up to 7,400 and that forced folds all around. Arapi stated "I have something but you probably have kings or aces" as he mucked the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts} face up.

White Busts Wesolek

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

On a completed board of {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{k-Clubs} with 10,400 in the middle, Bartosz Wesolek moved all-in for slightly more than the pot. That sent Oliver White into the tank for around a minute but he ended up making the call.

Wesolek tabled the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for the top two pair but White had the best of it with {3-Spades}{3-Clubs} for bottom set.

King-High Beats King-High

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante
Mantas Urbonas
Mantas Urbonas

Mantas Urbonas raised to 600 and earned two callers in Alexander Bashiri in the cutoff and Conor O'Driscoll out of the big blind. The {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop was checked to Urbonas, who bet 600. Only Bashiri called and the {4-Diamonds} turn was checked through. Following the {3-Clubs} river, Urbonas checked and then reluctantly called a bet of 2,000 by Bashiri, who announced king-high and flashed the {k-Spades}{8-Spades} for the busted nut flush draw.

Urbonas only had king-high as well but the {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} represented the superior kicker.

Khatri Arrives and Chips Up

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

Bhavin Khatri arrived and took a seat a few moments ago, instantly engaging in table chat and trying to raise the serious atmosphere. He got a few grins out of his opponents and declared he will aim to play fast to "get as many hands as possible."

On a three-way flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, Khatri in the small blind check-called a bet worth 700 by Eliran Argelazi from under the gun and the {j-Clubs} turn was checked through. "Oh, you are silent, so I gonna bet," Khatri announced and made it 2,500 to go. Argelazi folded without showing any emotions and the pot was shipped to Khatri.

Arovaara Takes From Pang

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

With 7,500 already in the middle to the {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} turn, Tom Arovaara checked out of the small blind and then called a bet worth 6,000 by Long Chin Pang in the cutoff. The {3-Diamonds} on the river was checked by both and Arovaara tabled the {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for a flush to win the pot, leaving Pang with his head shaking.

Also featured on the table is Newcastle's Hamid Rowshanaei, who scored an early knockout.

Ramsden First Casualty of the Day

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

It appears that one player has already busted in the first level of the day. That happens to be Jacques Ramsden and the cards and board were already rushed away. The stack of Ramsden now belongs to Joseph Lazor, who is the early chip leader.
