Sitbon Scores a Knockout

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Julien Sitbon
Julien Sitbon

Julien Sitbon opened from under the gun and received two callers to then bet 2,500 on the {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop. On the {j-Hearts} turn, the action checked to Sitbon in the under-the-gun position and he bet 6,500 into a pot of around 10,000. The button called and the big blind then check-jammed for 21,700. Sitbon went all-in over the top and the button folded, flashing a black {k-}{j-} combo for a second.

Big blind: {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Julien Sitbon: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The {3-Spades} river was a blank and the pot was shipped to Sitbon.

Lehr Among the Latest Entries

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

A rather unexpected guest has appeared in the Day 1b field as two-time WSOP bracelet winner Keith Lehr was among the most recent entries. Now based in Dubai for the time being, Lehr jumped on a plane to the English capital and entered Day 1b. "I might stay here longer," he said before taking a seat.

PokerStars ambassador Steve Enriquez also entered and already nearly doubled while Dan Wilson and Kevin Allen can be found at the tables as well.

Quadruple Up for Sidhu

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Kully Sidhu
Kully Sidhu

Four ways to the {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, the action checked to Kin Luu and he bet 2,300. Cameron Cunningham then jammed for 18,400 in the cutoff and Kully Sidhu called all-in for 14,400 on the button. Edwar Saade in the big blind called and Luu then reshoved for 46,400, which forced out Saade (who mentioned to have folded the top two pair).

Kully Sidhu: {4-Spades}{2-Spades}
Cameron Cunningham: {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Kin Luu: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The flopped straight of Sidhu improved to a flush on the {7-Spades} turn and {9-Spades} river to secure the quadruple up while Cunningham won the small side pot.

Pinto Arrives and Chips Up

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Kanan Farzaliyev was left short on the wild table with Terry Jordon, who also lost half his stack as Colin Paddington re-entered and tripled up the stack in quick succession. Paddington then bet the heads-up river of {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Spades} for 6,000 and Ricardo Pinto called.

Paddington declared a full house and flashed the {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, which Pinto had beat with {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Expect more wild swings on that table, to say the least.

Hayward Busts Huette

On a completed board of {8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades}, Mariko Huette bet 10,000 with around as much behind. Luke Hayward the moved all-in with the covering stack and Huette called within a few seconds. Hayward rolled over the {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for jacks full and Huette flashed the {2-Spades} before leaving the tournament area.
