Start of Day 2 chip leader Dexter Turnbull was also eliminated late in the day in 12th (£7,120) as he turned a set of jacks, only for Michael Howard to river the nut flush to leave him with one big blind which he couldn't spin up.

PokerStars Team Pros Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg and Mason Pye both came into the day short hoping to spin it up. However they were both eliminated early in the day.

The final table will commence from 12 p.m. local time on Sunday 31st July with 60-minute levels with the blinds starting at 40,000/80,000 with a 80,000 big blind ante.

Simm Cracks Clarke's Aces to Double

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Tom Simm
Tom Simm

Tom Simm moved all in on the button for 585,000. Philip Clarke called in the big blind.

Tom Simm: {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Philip Clarke: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Simm was way behind as he was up against the pocket rockets.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} giving Simm a gutshot. His rail called for a nine but it didn't come on the turn as the {j-Hearts} hit the board. However it did come on the river as it came the {9-Diamonds} to give Simm the double up. It was Clarke's turn to have the feeling of his aces being cracked after earier his pocket kings had cracked his opponent aces. Clarke was left with less than five big blinds making him the shortest stack in the room.
