Philip Clarke
Philip Clarke

Jonathan McCann raised to 35,000 from under the gun and was three-bet by Ali Sakallioglu in early position to 85,000. Philip "Diavolo" Clarke was in middle position and cold four-bet to 225,000.

Action folded back to Sakallioglu who five-bet all in for 590,000. Clarke quickly called covering Sakallioglue.

Ali Sakallioglu: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Phillip "Diavolo" Clarke: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

It was a cooler with Sakallioglu's pocket aces dominating Clarke's pocket kings. However the king immediately came in the window as the flop came {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Sakallioglue stood up in disbelief as he was ready to exit the tournament. He needed an ace and only an ace but it didn't come as he was sent to the rails when the turn came the {3-Diamonds} and the river the {6-Spades}.

Clarke smirked as he raked in the chips in his direction becoming one of the biggest stacks in the room.
