Muccitelli Runs Jacks Into Galley's Quads
Level 2
: Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Davide Muccitelli opened the action with a middle position raise to 700. He picked up three calls, including Yannick Galley on the button.
The flop came K♦8♣8♦ and action checked to Galley, who bet 1,000. Only Muccitelli made the call.
The turn was the 4♦ and Muccitelli quickly checked. Galley bet 2,200 and Muccitelli called. The river came the 10♣ and Muccitelli checked again. Galley put out a bet of 6,000 and Muccitelli check raised all in. Galley snap called and players flipped their cards.
Muccitelli showed J♦J♠ for a pocket pair of jacks. Galley showed 8♥8♠. He'd flopped quads and got full value for it, chipping up to over double the starting stack.
