Immediately after action resumed following the break, two bustouts occurred simultaneously.
On one table, the winning player reported the hand from the soft bubble. Shane Wilkins raised and Thomas Clack jammed over the raise. Wilkins called and players flipped their cards.
Wilkins had AxJx and Clack had 10x10x. Wilkins paired his ace, but the river brought Clack a set of tens to give him the pot. Wilkins was knocked out in 26th place.
On the other table, action folded around to Longmao Fan, who jammed from late position for around 10 big blinds. Mitchell Johnson shoved for a little more and the rest of the table folded. Players flipped their cards, with Fan at risk.
Longmao Fan: K♦10♦
Mitchell Johnson: 9♠9♦
The board ran out Q♦3♣10♥J♣K♣. Fan paired his ten on the flop and made two pair on the river. However, Johnson hit a straight with his nines to win the pot. Fan was eliminated on the stone bubble in 25th place.
The remaining players bagged and tagged their chips and will return for Day 2.
