Atanas Pavlov raised to 500,000 from the button with K♣9♣ and Gaspare Sposato called in the big blind with K♦3♦.

The flop came 7♦4♥J♣ and Sposato checked. Pavlov made it 575,000 to go and Sposato called. Sposato checked again on the 3♥ turn. Pavlov bet 1,300,000 and Sposato called.

The river was the 5♠ and both players checked to showdown. Sposato won the pot with a pair of threes and gained the chip lead. A couple of hands later, Sposato made two pair and won another decent pot to further improve his stack.

Gaspare Sposato raised to 400,000 from the button for and Atanas Pavlov three-bet to 1,375,000 from the big blind. Sposato then four-bet all in for 4,750,000 and Pavlov called to put Sposato at risk as players turned their cards.

The board ran out A♦7♣A♥7♠K♥. Pavlov stayed ahead with his eights until the river brought Sposato a pair of kings, two pair with the aces on board. He won the pot and doubled up to bring the stacks closer to even.

Alessandro Pichierri raised to 300,000 from the button with 9♣7♣ and Atanas Pavlov called in the big blind with A♣3♣.

The flop came 5♣J♣6♦ to give both players a flush draw. Pavlov checked, Pichierri bet 400,000 and Pavlov called. Both players then checked it back on the 7♠ turn.

The river was the 10♣, completing both player's hands. Pavlov led for 325,000 with his ace high flush and Pichierri raised to 1,700,000 with his nine high flush. Pavlov pushed his stack into the middle, putting Pichierri in a nightmare situation and sending him into the tank.

Pichierri eventually made the call for all of his chips. Pavlov scooped the pot to bring his stack to over 18 million. Pichierri was eliminated from the tournament in third place for £56,700.
