Bubble Bursts With Three Way All In and Double Bustout

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Christian Choca Archinaut
Christian Choca Archinaut

Tedium had set in across the room, the last few levels slow, the time ticking into the early hours of the morning. Nothing seemed to be happening. Until, over on Table 4, a pot had suddenly developed with three players all in.

Christian Choca Archinaut moved all in from under the gun for around ten big blinds. Darius Demetriou flat called in middle position. Then, Jamie Geraghty pushed all in over the top. Demetriou called the shove and three players pushed their chips in and flipped their cards.

Darius Demetriou: KK All in
Jamie Geraghty: AA

The board ran out Q7778. All three players made a full house. Geraghty had the best of it with his aces. He won the pot and eliminated both Archinaut and Demetriou.

That means 29 players will return in the money for Day 2.

McConachie Busts Before Bubble

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action folded around to Joe Hindry, who pushed all in from the small blind. David McConachie looked down at his hand and announced that he had a pair. He called for 19,500 and players flipped their cards.

David McConachie: 5x5x
Joe Hindry: A9

"Seems like a fair fight," said a neutral player. "Not anymore...", he said as the board ran out 73A106. Hindry paired his ace on the flop and held to win the pot. McConachie had already left the table, out two from the money.
