With around 9,000 chips in the pot on a flop of A♦9♥7♠, Chase Wilson checked from the small blind and Vincent Meli bet 2,500 from under the gun. Wilson called.
A 10♣ on the turn was checked through to the J♥ river, where Wilson led out for 8,000, and Meli made a raise to 20,000. After thinking it over for a while, Wilson decided to call.
Meli then flipped 8♠8♥ for a straight, and Wilson mucked.
On a flop of 9♥7♣8♠ with around 12,000 in the middle, George Demetriou checked and Majid Nadeem shoved for 11,500 from the big blind. Keith Cummins called, and the other two players in the hand folded.
Majid Nadeem: J♦8♣
Keith Cummins: 10♦10♥
Nadeem did have outs, but never managed to find any of them as the 5♣3♣ runout meant he was sent to the rail as play resumed after dinner.

Patrice Brandt opened from middle position to 2,400 and got called by Halil Hassan in the cutoff & Vincent Meli in the big blind.
They saw a flop of 7♥Q♥10♠ where Meli checked and Brandt continued for 3,200. Hassan called, but Meli folded.
Both checked the 10♥ turn to see the 4♥ hit the river, where Brandt made another bet of 10,000. Hassan than nervously fumbled a raise of 25,000 into the pot, and after thinking it over, Brandt slid his cards into the muck.
Kai Chan, Simon Higgins, and Florian Duta had all put in 7,500 preflop to see the 10♣Q♦10♥ board, which checked around to Duta, who bet 5,500. Chan folded, and Higgins put in a raise to 17,000. Duta wanted no more to do with the pot, and laid his hand down.
Higgins' stack has slowly been rising throughout the day, and he now sits with around 130,000 as the dinner break approaches.
