The Silver Suffer
Max Silver opened from first position and Stephen Trimble made the call. It was heads up to a flop of

Silver faced off against Willie Tann in the next hand, check-calling a bet of 1,600 from Tann on a flop of

and Silver check called a 2,500 bet from Tann. They both checked the river

for the flopped straight saying, “I can’t bet anymore in case you have the ace.”
Silver just nodded in agreement, left to reflect on a couple of pots that didn’t go his way to knock him just below starting stack.
