Janssen Busts Kwok

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Cheng Kwok
Cheng Kwok

Cheng Kwok bet 13,000 on the turn of a board {3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs} and David Janssen called before the {A-Spades} fell on the river. Kwok moved all in instantly and Janssen asked for his stack almost as quickly.

The dealer counted 36,500 and Janssen checked his own stack before dropping in the required chips for the call.

Kwok announced kings before flipping over {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and Janssen's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for two pair won the pot.

Chocolate Tasting with Charlotte Van Brabander

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Bacon, wasabi and fried onions aren't the first flavors that come to mind when you think of chocolate, but at The Chocolate Line in Antwerp everything goes. The famous chocolatier was started by chef and chocolate artist Dominique Persoone, and since then a wide range of flavors has become available for everyone to try.

Remko Rinkema and Charlotte Van Brabander made their way to The Chocolate Line and here are their thoughts on some of the craziest flavors available.

Westerlund Busts; Vonen Doubles

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

While Tommy Westerlund has been sent to the rail, another Scandinavian was more fortunate. Torstein Vonen three-bet all in for 22,400 with {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and initial raiser Alexander Kinket called with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}.

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Kinket fell back to only 17 big blinds.

Peters and Hoedemaker Win Small Pots

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Frederic van Damme and Frederic Ronsse have been eliminated early in level 10 while Tobias Peters and Micha Hoedemaker picked up small pots.

Peters raised to 4,000 from early position and Asif Warris defended his big blind, then check-folding to a continuation bet on the flop {5-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Micha Hoedemaker called a raise to 4,100 in the small blind and Grzegorz Wyraz also came along in the big blind. The flop {7-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop was checked through, the {3-Clubs} on the turn saw Hoedemaker bet 6,700 and claim the pot uncontested.

Claes Escaped From Elimination

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

After a preflop raising war, Asif Warris folded pocket nines in the small blind and Stefanie Claes had moved all in with the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}. Rutger Coomans looked her up with {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and seemingly locked up the hand on the {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} turn with a straight. But the dealer then burned and turned the {10-Clubs} and the straight on the board chopped up the pot.

Simpson Takes Lead from Verbon

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Over on the feature table, Ian Simpson and Tim Verbon got involved into a four-bet to 26,000 and Simpson called to see a flop of {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Both players checked and Verbon then continued for 25,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn, again Simpson called.

The {K-Diamonds} came on the river and that was the worst card for Verbon, who fired 50,000 with {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}. Simpson snap-called with {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and raked in the huge pot.
