Moolhuizen Doubles

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Mateusz Moolhuizen had worked his stack p to 88,000 again when Romain Nardin in middle position opened for the 4th time in a row to 5,100. Big blind Moolhuizen three-bet to 18,500 and Nardin shoved all in after just 20 seconds. Moolhuizen made the call.

Mateusz Moolhuizen: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Romain Nardin: {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The flop came {7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, pairing Nardin but giving Moolhuizen a flush draw. The {J-Spades} on the turn gave Moolhuizen a straight draw on top of his flush draw (and live over cards), and the {Q-Hearts} on the river completed both. Moolhuizen back to 180,000.

Winther Is Reading

Level 12 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante
Orjahn Winther
Orjahn Winther

Orjahn Winther was seen reading a book all day on Day 1, and is still doing it here today on Day 2. Just now we saw Joseph Said open the button and small blind Orjahn Winther three-bet to 17,100 while hardly looking up from his book. Said made the call.

Winther continued to read while the dealer fanned {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. He grabbed some chips (13,300) and tossed them in. Said made the call. The same happened on the {2-Clubs} turn; Winther bet 13,500 and Said made the call.

The {3-Hearts} completed the board and Winther tapped the table. Said did the same and the two showed their cards. Winther had missed with {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}, Said raked in the chips showing {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

Winther turned a page like nothing had happened, and continued reading while Said started stacking.

De Laat Wins a Big One

Level 12 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Bas de Laat told us about a big pot he had just won, which resulted in him now playing 240,000 and the tournament being down another player.

De Laat opened the button for 6,600 and the player in the small blind three-bet to 17,500. De Laat called with {K-}{Q-} and called the 18,000 continuation bet on {K-}{Q-}{10-} as well.

The turn was an off suit {3-} and the small blind shoved for about 70,000. De Laat called with top two and his opponent turned over {J-}{7-} off suit. The river blanked and De Laat could start stacking.
