The River Keeps Hegyi in the Tournament

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Jozsef Hegyi
Jozsef Hegyi

Jami Juutila raised it up to 1,200 in middle position and was called by Tonio Roeder on his left. Jozsef Hegyi shipped all in for 21,200 on the button and the action was back on Juutila who re-shoved all in to force out Roeder.

Jozsef Hegyi: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Jami Juutila: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Juutila was in a dominating position which held true through the {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop. The {3-Spades} on the turn also changed nothing but it was the {q-Diamonds} on the river that got a small fist pump from Hegyi who found the lone card in the deck in order to stay alive.

Karlsson Doubles Through Tang

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Jia Tang opened to 1,300 in early position and found one caller before Gustav Karlsson made it 4,000 from the small blind. Tang called and went heads-up with Karlsson to a flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Karlsson splashed in the last of his 10,200 chips and Tang got a count before making the call.

Gustav Karlsson: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Jia Tang: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Despite flopping top pair, Tang was well behind Karlsson's set of jacks. The {9-Clubs} and {4-Clubs} runout wasn't enough to help Tang and Karlsson scored a double up.

Negro Bricks Out

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

The action folded to Filip Dielis on the button who made it 1,200 to go. Jerome Negro defended from the big blind and the two players saw a flop of {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Negro checked to Dielis who bet 2,000 and Negro instantly shoved all in for 15,100. Dielis called and the cards were face up.

Filip Dielis: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Jerome Negro: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Negro had an overcard and a flush draw with his tournament life on the line. The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and the river was the {8-Diamonds} as Negro bricked out to hit the rail.

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

All the Aces are Out

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Marko Kolk started with a raise to 1,300 in middle position and Michal Zielinski three-bet to 3,300 on the button. The action was back on Kolk who stuck in a four-bet to 6,300. Zielinski five-bet shoved all in for 20,500 and Kolk quickly called.

Marko Kolk: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Michal Zielinski: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Both players woke up with aces, each holding a different color. The flop of {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Hearts} provided no flush draws for either player and pot that quickly became inflated was chopped.
