Winther Caught Bluffing

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In the first hand back from the dinner break on the outer table, Oerjahn Winther defended his big blind against the button raise of Marius Gicovanu and check-called a bet of 40,000 on the {7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop. The {5-Hearts} turn went check, check, and Winther bet the {6-Hearts} river for 50,000.

Gicovanu needed some time to consider but made the call, and he was good. Winther only had {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, which Gicovanu had beat with {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}.

Dinner Break on Day 3 with 15 Remaining

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The remaining 15 players have been sent into a 60-minute dinner break and the T-1,000 chips will be raced off. Day 3 concludes when the final table has been reached or at the end of the eighth level, whichever of the two comes first.

Grecu Cements Lead

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The action on the outer table has slowed down and the only bigger pot as of lately left Cristian Grecu with the head shaking, even though he claimed the chips. What had happened? Grecu had flopped top set with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} in the big blind but his opponent checked behind the river.

Grecu climbed up to around 1.5 million in chips and Razvan Sabau is the only other chip millionaire on the outer table.
