"Adri" Flips Hamou to the Rail

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

"Adri" opened to 10,000 from under the gun and Fouad Zouiten three-bet to 40,000 from early position. Samy Hamou moved all in for 109,000 from the button and "Adri" re-shoved for 227,000, covering both opponents. Zouiten looked frustrated with the situation but ultimately found a fold leaving Hamou all in and at risk against "Adri".

Samy Hamou: JJ
"Adri": AK

It was a classic tournament flip that Hamou caught the better of on the 762 flop. The 2 turn gave "Adri" many more outs in the form of a flush-draw, and one of those outs came on the 4 river. "Adri" had rivered an ace-high flush to eliminate Hamou and collect the last of his chips.

Meanwhile at the same table, Linda Hamdi continues to extend her lead over the rest of the field and is rapidly approaching one million chips.

Alexandre Reard
Alexandre Reard

Alexandre Reard: 98
"Belmehdi": A6

The board ran out QJ44A. Reard's suited connecter failed to connect with anything and he was eliminated near the end of the day while "Belmehdi" picked up a decent pot.

Brilliet Mines a Set

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jeremie Canetti opened to 5,000 from under the gun and received calls from Arthur Brilliet in the cutoff, David Schable in the small blind and "Prz" in the big blind.

All four players checked the Q47 flop leading to the 2 on the turn. Schable checked, "Prz" bet 7,500, Canetti folded, Brilliet made the call and Schable made the call.

The river was the 6. Action checked around to Brilliet who bet 13,000. "Prz" called while Schable got out of the way.

Brilliet tabled 22 for a turned set to take down a nice pot.

Not long after this hand, Schable would be eliminated. Salah-Eddine Elghazi was also recently eliminated at a nearby table.

Taurines Soars with Broadway

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With the board reading JQQ108 and a sizable pot already in the middle, Alejandro "Tanketa" Gavinet checked from the big blind, Ugo Taurines bet 21,500 from under the gun and Gavinet moved all in, putting Taurines deep into the tank.

After roughly four minutes the clock was called. Not long afterwards, Taurines called off with his tournament life at risk and a pot worth well over 150 big blinds on the line.

Gavinet tabled KQ for trips while Gavinet revealed AK for a broadway straight to take down a colossal pot.

Meanwhile at another table, Audrey Verlomme was recently eliminated.

Hamdi Accumulating Chips

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Linda Hamdi opened to 6,000 from middle position and received calls from Mahmouki Hicham in the hijack, Samy Hamou on the button and Mathieu Cabannes in the big blind.

All four players checked the Q34 flop leading to the J on the turn. Cabannes checked, Hamdi bet 8,000, Mahmouki called, Hamou folded and Cabannes folded.

Both players checked the 3 river. Hamdi tabled J9 for second pair which was good enough to take the pot.

Elsewhere, Marc Navarro and Damien Luis have both been recently eliminated from the tournament.

Reard Gets Some Back

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Mostafa Essanhaji opened to 2,500 from the hijack and "Johan" three-bet to 7,500 from the button. Alexandre Reard, who had lost a bit more than half his stack over the last two levels, called from the small blind and Essanhaji also called.

Action checked around to "Johan" who bet 10,500 on the 496 flop. Reard put in a check-raise to 25,000 which was enough to force a fold from both remaining opponents and take down a nice pot uncontested.

Meanwhile, Ugo Palmero and Rachid Boughrara have both recently been eliminated from the tournament.
