Reard has several previous big scores across UDSO main events, including a runner-up finish in Cannes for €25,550 as well as a win in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux for €34,100. Franco is also chasing his second UDSO main event title. He won a UDSO main event here in Marrakech in 2017 for MAD 100,000 (approximately €10,000). El-Yousfie is also no stranger to success at UDSO events, having won a high roller in Divonne-les-Bains in 2020 for €28,104.
Like yesterday, players will start at 1 p.m. local time with 50,000 in chips and play 50-minute levels. Late registration will be open for the first nine levels for each Day 1, and there are unlimited re-entries permitted during that period. Cards are in the air starting at 1 p.m. There will be a 15-minute break after every two levels and a one-hour dinner break after level 8. The day will conclude after 13 levels at approximately 2:00 a.m. local time on Friday October 6.
