With three players seeing a board of Q♥9♦6♠ and about 200,000 already in the middle, Mounir Acharki bet 40,000 from the big blind and received a call from Ugo Taurines in early position. Julien Vecchioli raised to 125,000 from the button. Acharki made the call and Taurines got out of the way.

The turn came the 6♣ and Acharki check-called a 150,000 bet from Vecchioli.

Both players checked the J♥ river.

Acharki tabled Q♦8♦ for top pair to take the pot.

Volga Uyanik opened to 110,000 from the button and Alexandre Le Vaillant three-bet to 425,000 from the small blind. Uyanik moved all in for 1,100,000 total and Le Vaillant called with a covering stack.

Uyanik was in rough shape having been pipped by the higher pocket-pair of Le Vaillant. Things looked even more bleak when Le Vaillant flopped a set on the 9♠7♦2♥ flop, but the 10♣ turn did give Uyanik an open-ended straight draw. The K♦ river was a blank and Uyanik was sent to the rail while Le Vaillant dragged in another decent pot.

Taurines was in great shape to double up with a bigger ace but that all changed when Acharki hit a six on the 6♠3♦8♥ flop leaving Taurines drawing to three outs. Those outs never materialized on the K♠ turn or K♦ river, ending Taurines run while Acharki collected the last of his chips.
