Straight on the River for Anton
Level 22
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Dragos Anton was in early position when he opened to 50,000. He was called by Max Broens on the button, while the blinds folded.
The J♦9♣7♣ flop was checked by Anton, so Broens took this opportunity to bet 50,000. Anton quickly called, then faced a second barrel of 100,000 on the turn 6♦.
Anton called again. But on the river 8♦, he bet 245,000. Broens called with A♠J♠ for top pair, but Anton hit a straight on the river with A♣10♣.
