Tuesday saw a busy day of action at Casino de Marrakech as three different events stole the show at the 2025 Unibet DeepStack Open (UDSO) Marrakech.

From a record-breaking Silver edition to a dramatic comeback in the Mini Main, and the High Roller building toward its climax, players were treated to plenty of storylines.

Montes Wins Record-Breaking UDSO Silver

The 3,500 MAD (€310) UDSO Silver drew a record 296 entries, generating a prize pool of 871,700 MAD. When the dust settled, it was Moises Montes who secured the trophy.

Holding the chip lead at heads-up, Montes shoved with king-seven and found a caller from "Luffy", who was down to his last 13 big blinds with queen-eight. The board ran in Montes’ favor as he flopped trip sevens and improved to a full house on the turn to lock up the win.

Omari Pulls Off the “Comeback” in Mini Main Event

The 3,000 MAD (€266) Mini UDSO Main saw 150 registrations and for the second straight night, Guillaume Darcourt had to settle for runner-up honors after coming up short in the USDO Cup final against "Gabriel".

This time, Darcourt eliminated eight players at the final table and entered heads-up with an overwhelming 4.2 million to 300,000 chip lead. Yet Morocco’s Achraf Omari staged a miraculous comeback, cheered on by the rail who shouted “The comeback!” as the river card sealed his victory.
