Flop Check Haunts Hatim

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Michael Ahmetaj opened to 700 from under the gun and was called by Didier Secheresse from the next seat over. Saber Hatim three-bet to 3,600 for the action to fold back to Ahmetaj. He called and so did Secheresse.

All three players checked the flop and turn, for the board to read Q84A3. Ahmetaj led out for a sizeable 12,000, which quickly got rid of Secheresse. Hatim tanked for around a minute before making the call.

Ahmetaj showed down a set of threes with his 33, besting his opponent's KQ.

There's also a chip leader at the same table, in the form of Salah Eddine Taleb. He got his chips from Louis Michaud, who was one of the last casualties before the break.
