Last Minute Doubles for Vladmirov and Reard
Level 12
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Denis Vladmirov and El Mehdi Mbarek got their short stacks in preflop, with Mbarek being the bigger stack by just a few T-1,000 chips.
Denis Vladmirov: K♠K♥
El Mehdi Mbarek: AxJx
Vladmirov's cowboys rode out the 10♣8♦4♣5♥J♣ runout to double up.
On another table, Alexandre Reard was at risk of bubbling the day. He got his last 44,000 in with A♦4♦ and ran into another player's A♠Q♣. However, fortune favored the Unibet ambassador as he went on to make a seven-high straight after the final board read 7♦6♠9♠5♥3♦.
