Ducimetiere Doubles; Mamalepot Chipping Up
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Sandro Alves opened from under the gun and called the 11,000 all-in from Jean-Marc Ducimetiere, who was on his direct left.
Jean-Marc Ducimetiere: A♣5♥
Sandro Alves: 6♠5♠
Ducimetiere had Alves dominated and he collected a drama-free double up as the board ran out with the Q♠10♦2♥2♦J♥.
On the next deal, Ducimetiere opened to 2,200 from under the gun and had four callers.
The action checked to Abdelkarim Mahieddine on the 6♣5♥2♠ flop, and he bet 7,700 from middle position. TA_Michel called from the hijack before Claude Mamalepot made it 20,000. Alves, Ducimetiere and Mahieddine folded, while TA_Michel stuck around.
TA_Michel check-folded to a bet of 21,500 on the A♣ turn, preserving his 120,000 stack. Meanwhile, Mamalepot hit the 175,000 mark.
