2025 Unibet DeepStack Open Marrakech
Belmehdi opened from early position before Godard Raphael three-bet from the small blind. The duo exchanged raises that saw Belhmedi all-in for his last 191,000. Raphael had the covering stack.
Belmehdi: A♣A♥
Godard Raphael: AxKx
Raphael picked up two outs on the K♠4♠3♣ flop but Belmehdi dragged in the double up after the 10♣ turn and 4♣ river.
Alcaraz jammed for 51,000 from under the gun. Olivier Paris reshoved for around 150,000 from the small blind, which forced out Philip Rahman, who was in the big blind.
Alcaraz: AxQx
Olivier Paris: QxQx
Alcaraz whiffed the 10♣9♥3♣ flop but found an ace on the A♥ turn to leave Paris drawing to the case queen. The 8♥ river completed the board and Alcaraz doubled up.
Rahman then informed Alcaraz that one of his aces were dead as he folded Ax5x.
Salah Eddine Taleb opened to 10,000 from the hijack and was called by Mario Fata from the button. Fausto Munz put in his last 95,000 from the small blind, and Taleb called. Fata then jammed for 140,000 and Taleb flicked in more calling chips.
Fausto Munz: A♠K♦
Mario Fata: K♥J♥
Salah Eddine Taleb: A♦Q♠
Taleb became the huge favorite, pairing his queen on the Q♣7♣2♣ flop. No help came for Fata or Munz as Taleb improved to trips after the 5♦ turn and Q♥ river.

A pot of 270,000 had brewed in a blind on blind battle between Benjamin Hammann and chip leader Sebastien Guinand.
Benjamin Hammann mulled briefly, before checking his option on the 10♠5♠K♥A♠2♦ board. Hammann had around 400,000 behind and Guinand put him to the test for all of his chips.
Hammann tanked for ages, with clock eventually being called. He couldn't make a decision and his hand was ruled dead.
Guinand won his chip leading stack with pocket jacks last night, flopping a set and getting max value with pocket jacks. This time around, he turned his J♠J♣ into a massive bluff, which was met with congratulations from the table.
Gregory Campbell opened to 8,000 from under the gun, and was called by Tom Seck from middle position. Romain Morin called from the small blind before Aubin De Kermadec made it 24,000 from the big blind. Campbell and Seck called.
De Kermadec checked on the K♦8♠4♠ flop, prompting Campbell to bet 40,000. Seck folded and then De Kermadec jammed for 79,000. Campbell called.
Aubin De Kermadec: Q♠Q♣
Gregory Campbell: J♠10♠
De Kermadec's queens remained best after the 10♥ turn and 9♥ river to book in the double.
Mathieu Papineau made it 8,000 from under the gun and was called by Mehdi Hsissen from the next seat over. Fausto Munz and Kamel Rachedi called from the button and big blind.
The K♠3♠3♦ flop checked through to the J♥ turn, where it checked to Munz. He fired out 28,000 and Hsissen was the only caller.
On the 4♠ river, Hsissen quickly check-called a bet of 50,000.
Munz was caught speeding with 8♥7♥ and Hsissen's A♣J♣ was good for the pot.
