Pellualt Busts The Classic Way

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Action was picked up preflop, with button player Falou having just opened the action. To his left, small blind Pelluault made it 2,400 to go, and Falou responded with a four-bet to 5,700.

The preflop fireworks didn't stop there, however, as Pelluault slid forward a five-bet to 19,400, which was quickly called by Falou. The 6♥4♦4♥ flop saw Pelluault snap-shove his remaining 20,000. Falou snap-called.

Pelluault: K♠K♣ All in
Falou: A♠A♣

It was two black aces versus two black kings, and the former held on the 6♦10♣ runout.

"The classic," noted Pelluault in French before leaving the table.

Jeroshan Misses the Backdoor

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Daniel Riley opened to 700 from middle position. David Foucault flatted on the button, before Rex Jeroshan moved all in for 11,000 from the big blind. Riley called, and Foucault folded.

Rex Jeroshan: 10♦7♦ All in
Daniel Riley: 10♥10♠

Riley had his opponent dead to rights, with the 8♣8♥4♦ flop offering Jeroshan nothing but backdoors. The Q♦ turn was a sweaty one, as as Jeroshan picked up a flush draw, but the brick A♠ river sealed his elimination.

Royal Flush for Padilla

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Action was picked up on the river, with the board reading J♠K♠Q♠10♠Q♦

Cutoff player Nicolas Padilla bet out for 7,000 into a pot of slightly more, and his opponent Michael Gabbay quickly called on the button. No matter what Gabbay held, however, the pot was never headed in his direction, as Padilla showed A♠5♦ for the nut of all nuts: a spade Royal Flush.

Needless to say, he claimed the pot.

Akbarpoor Straightens Out Mara

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Action was picked up on the turn, with a board reading 9♠10♣Q♠8♣. Big blind Abdullah Akbarpoor bet out for 11,000 into the 28,000 that was already in the middle. To his left, under the gun player Mara called, and the two saw the 9♦ river.

Akbarpoor didn't slow down, firing out 15,000, a bet which was very quickly called by his opponent. He showed J♦10♠ for the winner, having outdrawn the K♣K♥ of Mara.

Onelove73 Shows His Nuts

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Onelove73 opened to 600 from early position. David Foucault flatted the bet, before Rex Jeroshan made it 2,500 to go on the button. Both of his opponents quickly called.

The J♥7♣8♥ flop checked to Jeroshan, who threw out a continuation-bet of 2.100. Onelove73 called, and Foucault folded. The 6♣ turn checked through to the 5♣ river, and here Onelove73 opted to lead out for 4,300.

Jeroshan called the bet, but mucked his cards upon seeing his opponent's A♣9♣ for the stone-cold nuts.

Knafo Bets Them Out

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Javier Tsunamy opened from early position to 600. Jean Souprayenmestry called from the small blind, and Stephane Knafo opted to defended his big blind. The 5♥8♦2♦ flop xtttt as turn, at which point Souprayenmestry checked again.

Knafo fired out a bet of 900, and Tsunamy stuck in a call. Souprayenmestry let his cards go, and the 2♥ river was dealt. Knafo didn't slow down, and his bet of 3,000 was enough to take down the pot.

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Pablo Villena opened the action with a raise to 600 on the button. Andrei Gyongy came along for a call from the small blind, before big blind Dominique De Almeida upped the price of poker to 2,200. Both of his opponents called.

The 7♦2♥7♣ flop saw De Almeida continue for 3,000. Villena called, and Gyongy folded, bringing in the 2♠ turn.

Here, De Almeida slowed down with a check, and called his opponent's bet of 3,200. He checked once again on the 10♠ river, and Villena fired out a big bet of 17,000. De Almeida folded relatively quickly.
