Karem Laouini opened the action on the button with a raise to 400. Small blind Clement Besset then put in a three-bet, choosing 2,000 as his sizing. The big blind got out of the way, and Laouini went deep into the tank. After around a minute, he stuck in the call.
The A♣Q♣6♣ flop saw Besset continue, throwing a single T-1,000 chip forward. There was no tanking from Laoiuni this time, as he snap-folded.
Amsterdam opened to 500 under the gun. Alan Tronchon called from the small blind, and antoninduv defended his big.
The 7♣K♦6♦ flop checked through, and Tronchon checked for a second time on the J♣ turn. antoninduv picked up the betting lead, throwing 800 forward, and only Amsterdam called.
antoninduv then carried on for 1,800 on the 8♣ river, which brought a swift fold from his opponent.

It’s a very similar story today, as Day 1c mirrors the structure of Day 1a: 60-minute levels, 15-minute breaks after every two, and an hour-long dinner break following Level 8. Cards are set to be in the air at 12:00 p.m. local time.
The Day 1d Turbo flight also takes place today, and is the fastest of them all, trading in 60-minute levels for just 25: five minutes less on the clock than Day 1b Speed. It gets underway at 9:30 p.m.
Yet again, late registration is open throughout the entire Day, through to Level 13 during Day 2. Re-entries are unlimited.
