Hands #15-19: Peters Doubles Through Chidwick

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

Hand #15: Justin Bonomo raised to 45,000 from the hijack with {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Sam Soverel called from the small blind with {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}. The flop came {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and both players checked to the {3-Spades} on the turn. Soverel led out for 50,000 and Bonomo let his hand go.

Hand #16: Soverel raised to 45,000 on the button with {8-Spades}{5-Hearts} and David Peters called from the big blind with {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}. The flop came {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Peters checked to Soverel who bet 50,000 with his two pair. Peters called and then checked again on the {k-Clubs} turn card. Soverel fired another 90,000 and that was good enough to earn him the pot.

Hand #17: Stephen Chidwick opened to 45,000 from under the gun with {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Justin Bonomo called from the big blind with {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}. The flop came {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and both players checked to the {a-Hearts} on the turn. Bonomo checked again, afraid of the ace and Chidwick sensed an opportunity to bet 120,000. Bonomo called with his pair of nines and the {8-Clubs} rolled off on the river. Bonomo checked for the third time and Chidwick checked behind, allowing Bonomo to win the pot.

Hand #18: Justin Young opened to 45,000 from the hijack with {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Justin Bonomo three-bet to 175,000 out of the small blind with {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Young mucked his cards and Bonomo earned another pot.

Hand #19: David Peters shoved all in for 275,000 in the cutoff with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Stephen Chidwick moved all in over the top with {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Peters was in a dominating position to double up and the {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop was a safe one for Peters. The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and Chidwick was left drawing to a jack. The river landed the {9-Spades} and Peters got a full double up.
