Hands #82-83: Nadim Checks a Rivered Flush

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Hand #82: David Peters limped from the small blind with {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Justin Bonomo checked his {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Peters flopped a flush draw on the {J-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} board and took down the pot with a bet of 50,000.

Hand #83: Peters opened the button to 90,000 with {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Boutros Nadim defended his big blind with {K-Spades}{4-Hearts}. The {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} flop was checked by both contenders but Nadim led out 125,000 on the {8-Spades} turn. Peters called and the {6-Spades} came on the river, giving Nadim a flush while Peters completed a straight. Nadim, however, checked and so did Peters, avoiding any further damage to his stack.
