Hands #46-49: Nadim Smells Aces But Can't Find the Fold Button

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Hand #46: Justin Bonomo received a walk.

Hand #47: Boutros Nadim made it 60,000 from the first position, holding {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}. Action folded to big blind Stephen Chidwick who called with {Q-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Nadim couldn't find any extra value as Chidwick folded to his delayed continuation bet on the {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades} turn.

Hand #48: Bonomo raised to 65,000 from the button and Nadim defended his big blind. The {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{A-Spades} flop brought second nuts for Nadim who had {Q-Spades}{5-Spades}. The Lebanese player check-called 75,000 before both players checked the {6-Diamonds} turn. Bonomo's {K-Clubs}{4-Hearts} picked up some showdown value on the {K-Hearts} river and Nadim priced the river at 105,000. Bonomo paid off only to see his opponents' flush.

Hand #49: David Peters started the hand with a raise to 65,000 from early position and Nadim smelled the blades. "Feels like pocket aces," Nadim said.

He was right as Peters had {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} but Nadim flatted the small blind with {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} anyway. The {K-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop saw Peters continue for 70,000 and Nadim check-raised to 150,000.

Peters elected to call and then checked back the {Q-Hearts} turn. The river was the {4-Clubs} and Nadim check-called 200,000, laughing when he saw Peters turn up the aces.
