Hands #77-81: Peters Making Straights

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Hand #77: Justin Bonomo raised to 80,000 from under the gun with {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and David Peters defended his big blind with {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. The flop came {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades} and both players checked to the {7-Hearts} on the turn. Both players picked up an open-ended straight draw and Peters led out for 150,000 with the bottom end. Bonomo made the call and the {3-Hearts} hit the river. Peters moved all in with the nut straight and Bonomo quickly mucked his hand.

Hand #78: Justin Young shipped all in with {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} on the button and got folds from both of the blinds.

Hand #79: In a limped pot preflop, Bonomo led out for 40,000 holding {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} on a flop of {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Boutros Nadim raised to 125,000 with {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Bonomo folded quickly.

Hand #80: Nadim limped in from the small blind with {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Young shoved all in for 755,000 with {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Nadim engaged in some table talk before sending his cards to the muck.

Hand #81: Bonomo raised to 90,000 from under the gun with {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Peters called from the big blind again with {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} and two checks led to the {k-Clubs} on the turn. Both players rapped the table again and the {7-Diamonds} on the river gave Peters trip sevens. He led out for 220,000 and Bonomo gave it some thought but eventually laid his hand down.
