Hands #41-42: Tilston Smashes the River

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #41: Jake Schindler limped in from the small blind with {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Keith Tilston checked his big blind holding the {4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. The flop came {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} and Schindler led out for 30,000 which Tilston called. The turn brought the {k-Clubs} and Schindler fired a second barrel for 60,000. Tilston stuck around to see the {3-Hearts} on the river and Schindler led into him for 135,000. Having spiked trip threes, Tilston raised to 375,000 and Schindler made the correct laydown.

Hand #42: The action folded to Tilston in the small blind who shoved all in for 490,000 effectively holding {a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Stephen Chidwick was put to the test for his remaining stack with {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} and elected to fold.

Hands #36-40: Chidwick Doubles at the Expense of Tilston

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #36: Daniel Negreanu raised to 45,000 with {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} and claimed the pot without contest.

Hand #37: Jake Schindler opened to 50,000 with {A-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Stephen Chidwick defended his big blind with {Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. The flop fell {10-Spades}{A-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Chidwick quickly check-folded to a cbet.

Hand #38: Keith Tilston was the button and he put both short stacks all-in with {Q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Chidwick called for his 200,000 from the small blind, turning up {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} was safe for Chidwick who scored a much needed double to 460,000.

Hand #39: Chidwick started the hand with a 40,000 button-raise with {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Brent Hanks folded queen-jack in the small blind and Negreanu found rags in the big, leaving the pot to Chidwick.

Hand #40: Tilston raised with {J-Diamonds}{9-Spades} in the early position and Schindler called from the big blind with {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, flopping a straight on the {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Tilston, however, checked back on that street. Schindler led out 100,000 on the {2-Hearts} turn and Tilston laid his middle pair down.

Seth Davies Eliminated in 6th Place ($66,000)

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Seth Davies
Seth Davies

Hand #35: The action was once again folded to the small blind as Davies limped in with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Keith Tilston made it 70,000 with {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} in the big blind and was met with an all in for 815,000 from Davies. Tilston asked for a count and burned through a time extension before making the call.

It was a race between the two players and the flop came {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs} giving Tilston top two pair. The {k-Spades} on the turn and the {j-Hearts} on the river were no help to Davies as he became the first player eliminated at the final table.

Hands #32-34: Blind vs Blind Hands

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #32: Daniel Negreanu received a walk in the big blind as he flashed the {a-Hearts} to the table.

Hand #33: Negreanu limped in from the small blind with {a-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Jake Schindler checked his option with {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Negreanu check-called a bet of 20,000 from Schindler. The {8-Hearts} landed on the turn and Negreanu led out for 25,000. Schindler called holding the only diamond in his hand and the {2-Hearts} rolled off on the river. Negreanu fired another 75,000 and Schindler looked perplexed as he slid his cards to the muck.

Hand #34: Schindler raised to 60,000 from the small blind with {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Seth Davies defended with {j-Spades}{9-Spades}. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Schindler continued for 40,000. Davies peeled as the {7-Spades} fell on the turn. Schindler checked this time and Davies checked back. The {k-Diamonds} landed on the river and Schindler splashed in a bet as Davies instantly released his hand.

Hands #27-31: Hanks Keeps Shoving

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #27: Action folded to Brent Hanks who moved all-in for 275,000 from the button with {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. His shove went through as both blinds folded.

Hand #28: Stephen Chidwick raised to 40,000 from the hijack with {K-Spades}{6-Spades}. One seat over, Hanks found {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and shoved again. He won the pot preflop again.

Hand #29: Jake Schindler was on the button and he scooped the pot with a raise to 50,000 with queen-ten offsuit.

Hand #30: Hanks raised to 40,000 with {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and cutoff Schindler flatted {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} in position. Hanks checked to him on the {5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and Schindler ended the hand with a 40,000 bet.

Hand #31: Hijack Schindler raised to 40,000 with {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and his left-hand opponent Seth Davies re-raised to 120,000 with a dominating {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. Schindler used almost the full length of the allotted 30 seconds before sending his hand to the muck.

Hands #25-26: Schindler Closing the Gap

Level 17 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Hand #25: Jake Schindler opened to 34,000 from the hijack with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Brent Hanks called from the big blind with {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. The flop came {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} and both players checked to the {j-Spades} on the turn. Hanks checked again and Schindler tossed in a bet of 35,000. Hanks called and then checked when the {8-Spades} landed on the river. Schindler bet 75,000 and Hanks laid his hand down.

Hand #26: Keith Tilston raised to 35,000 in the cutoff with {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Daniel Negreanu defended from the big blind holding his favorite hand, {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Hands #20-24: Hanks and Chidwick Both Shove With Sixes

Level 17 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Hand #20: Keith Tilston had {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and opened the cutoff to 35,000. Brent Hanks found {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} in the small bland and shoved for 299,000. Next to act was Daniel Negreanu who woke up with {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} in the big blind and confirmed the size of Hanks all-in. Negreanu eventually laid his hand down, leaving the decision to Tilston who also folded.

Hand #21: Stephen Chidwick min-raised the cutoff with {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, inviting big blind Jake Schindler to the flop for the cheap price. Schindler called with {10-Hearts}{6-Spades} but check-folded after the {4-Clubs}{A-Spades}{J-Clubs} flop hit the felt.

Hand #22: Under the gun, Tilston made it 35,000 with {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} but none of his opponents found a hand to battle with, leaving the blinds and ante to Tilston.

Hand #23: Seth Davies completed from the small blind with {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Tilston checked with {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Davies claimed the pot with a bet of 16,000 on the {Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{Q-Spades} flop.

Hand #24: Negreanu raised to 35,000 with {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts} but he had to let his hand go when Chidwick pushed his 320,000 from the big blind, holding pocket sixes.
