Cautious Money Bubble

Level 16 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

It has been a cautious start to the money bubble, with no player yet to be all in. There have been a lot of raise and folds happening at both tables. The most exciting hand came between Daniel Negreanu and Ben Tollerene.

On a flop of {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, Tollerene check-raised Negreanu to 90,000 and Negreanu made the call. The turn brought the {q-Diamonds} and Tollerene fired another 95,000. Negreanu stuck around to see the {5-Diamonds} on the river but then folded when Tollerene pushed most of his stack in the middle.

Peters and Haxton Four-Bet Shove

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Matt Hyman raised to 26,000 from under the gun and David Peters flat-called on the button. Dan Smith re-raised to 106,000 from the small blind and Hyman quickly folded. Peters gave it some thought and then announced a four-bet shove all in. Smith was put to the test for his remaining stack but elected to fold.

At the other table, Isaac Haxton opened to 26,000 from the cutoff and Stephen Chidwick called on the button. Ben Tollerene went for a three-bet to 110,000 from the small blind but was met with another four-bet shove from Haxton. Both Chidwick and Tollerene instantly folded and Haxton raked in the pot.

Smith and Tilston Play a Big Pot

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Keith Tilston raised to 25,000 from under the gun and Dan Smith re-raised to 80,000 on the button. The action folded back to Tilston who made the call. The flop came {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Tilston check-called a bet of 50,000 from Smith.

The {k-Clubs} landed on the turn, slowing down the action as both players checked to the {9-Clubs} on the river. Tilston led out for a bet of 145,000 and Smith snapped him off. Tilston tabled {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Smith rolled over {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} to scoop the pot.

Tollerene Breaks the Bank of Berg

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ben Tolleren
Ben Tolleren

Ben Tollerene opened to 22,000 from under the gun and Elijah Berg three-bet to 82,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Tollerene shipped all in for 301,000. Berg tabled his hand before even making the call, but there was no doubt as he held {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. When Tollerene looked up to see his opponent's hand, all he could do was sigh.

Tollerene tabled {a-Spades}{8-Spades} and would need a lot of help. The flop of {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} gave Tollerene a chance and the {10-Spades} on the turn locked it up. Tollerene would double up and Berg was left with around 200,000 chips.

In the very next hand, Berg was seen getting up from his seat. He informed us that he got all of his chips in the middle with {a-}{q-} and ran into Tollerene's pocket jacks. Berg could not connect with the board was sent to the rail.

Negreanu Makes Trips Against Winter

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

A pile of chips had gathered in the middle of the table between Sean Winter and Daniel Negreanu with a board reading {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. Negreanu had checked and Winter fired a bet worth 71,000. Negreanu took a moment before sliding in a call and the {q-Hearts} hit the river.

Both players checked and Negreanu tabled the {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, making trips on the river and Winter mucked.
