Luke Martinelli raised to 2,000 on the button, and Peter Cominos defended his big blind to the 8♦6♣8♠ flop. Cominos checked to Martinelli, who continued for 1,500.
Cominos then check-raised to 4,500, and the call was made. The 7♥ turn saw Cominos lead out for 5,000, and Martinelli replied with a raise to 16,000.
The call was made, and Cominos checked the 3♣ river. Martinelli moved all in for 44,900, and Cominos went into the tank while sliding his remaining time bank cards forward.
After using a pair of time banks, Cominos let his hand go and the pot was sent to Martinelli.
Dean Blatt made it 2,000 to go and was called by Paris Sitzoukis, Wee Shee then reraised to 6,000 and was called only by Sitzoukis.
On a flop of 10♦10♥5♣, Sitzoukis check-called for 6,000 and the 7♣ on the turn was checked. Once Sitzoukis checked the 6♠ river, Shee bet 25,000 and was snapped off by his table nieghbour.
Sitzoukis had called all-in with the 3♥3♣ and Shee's K♥J♠ was caught for a bluff. They had just entered and busted shortly after.
Dean Blatt opened to 2,000 and was called by Stephen Quon, Afshin Behniya then three-bet to 10,000 and was called only by Quon. On the Q♠7♦6♠ flop, Quon check-called for 5,000 and then check-called all-in on the Q♥ turn.
Stephen Quon: 8♠8♣
Afshin Behniya: A♥Q♦
The J♠ river sent Quon to the rail, while Behniya chipped up to nearly six figures.
The pocket queens of Stanley W were just mucked by the dealer when he paid off Alan Dang for 13,300, having seen his pocket pair cracked. Dang was at risk preflop with the A♠10♦ and got there on the 8♠8♣3♥A♣4♣ runout to survive.
Vajra Castles raised on the button to 3,000, and David Hackenberger defended his big blind to see the A♥10♥6♠ flop. Hackenberger and Castles both checked to the 10♣ turn, where Hackenberger opted to check again.
Castles slid out a bet of 3,000, and Hackenberger sent his cards into the muck. Castles turned over A♠A♦ while collecting the chips, and Hackenberger tapped the table in appreciation.
On the double paired board of J♠J♦5♥5♦, Benjamin Pockett bet 2,500 and Jason Lee was the only caller. Pockett also bet the K♥ on the river for 7,000 but then folded when Lee made it 23,500 to go, exposing the 5♦ in the process,
Kareem Kilany checked the 9♠4♠3♠ flop from the small blind, and Alvin Changgra did the same in the big blind. Thibaut Klinghammer bet 2,000 in early position, and Kilany made the call. Changgra let his hand go, and Kilany checked again on the 6♣ turn.
Klinghammer continued for 6,000, and the call was made. One last check from Kilany followed the 7♣ river, where Klinghammer sized up to 15,000. That was enough to take down the pot, as Kilany sent his cards to the dealer.
