Luke Martinelli waited two hands to get his chips in from the cutoff for 14,000 and was looked up by Fred Tschirsch one seat over, the blinds both folded.
Luke Martinelli: 10♣7♦
Fred Tschirsch: K♦K♣
Thje A♣K♠7♣Q♥4♥ board gave Tschirsch a set of kings for the knockout. Konstantinos Karageorgos was the player who had previously taken most of Martinelli's chips.
Luke Martinelli had been caught bluffing the previous hand when he bet the river of a king-high board with 3♠2♠ for a missed bottom end of the straight. His opponent had called with only 2♥2♣ for two pair and Martinelli was then forced all-in for 2,000 from the small blind.
Mario Doria raised to 16,000 in the cutoff and the big blind called, then check-folded the K♦10♣2♣ flop.
Luke Martinelli: 5♥3♦
Mario Doria: A♥J♥
The 5♣ turn paired up Martinelli and the 2♠ river kept him in contention for the time being, albeit with fewer than two blinds.

Rulin Zhao had just come from a broken table with stack shy of ten big blinds and open jammed them to get called by the table chip leader Domenico Zappia in the next seat.
Rulin Zhao: K♦Q♦
Domenico Zappia: K♣K♥
Zappia had cracked kings before the break and his kings were cracked on the 10♣9♦6♠J♦6♣ board for Zhao to double for 76,000.
In the last hand before the break, Domenico Zappia and Daniel Klinger clashed in a three-bet pot that resulted in the all-in and call on a J♣7♥5♥ flop.
Daniel Klinger: K♠K♦
Domenico Zappia: J♥J♦
The 8♠ turn changed nothing nor did the J♠ river, which brought the case jack to send Klinger home busting to quads jacks. Zappia appears to be one of the largest stacks in the field.

Simon Avrutis had his stack of 235,000 in the middle from under the gun, and Amin Riyazati was all in for less in the hijack. Sam Higgs made the call on the button, and all three hands were revealed.
Amin Riyazati: A♠10♥
Simon Avrutis: Q♥Q♦
Sam Higgs: A♣Q♣
Avrutis cruised through the 2♠7♥K♠5♥Q♠ runout, making a set on the river to take down both pots and send Riyazati out.
In a single-raised pot to the A♦A♠K♣ flop, Higor Seibel called a bet by his opponent from under the gun for 6,000 and did so again for 23,000 on the 4♠ turn. The 10♦ river was checked to him and Seibel bet 65,000 after using one time bank to win the pot uncontested.
