Zac Miravet opened to 225,000 from the hijack, and Edward Hatzakortzian announced all in on the button. The dealer counted Hatzakortzian's stack of 1,305,000, and Miravey made the call.

Edward Hatzakortzian: A♣3♣ All in
Zac Miravet: A♥K♥

Both players revealed their suited aces, with Miravet hitting the K♣Q♦K♦9♠8♦ board to send Hatzakortzian out in 13th place.

Yixian Wang
Yixian Wang

Yixian Wang raised to 400,000 from under the gun with 10,000 behind and it folded to Ben Richardson in the big blind. He glanced over and pushed all-in, sending the action back to Wang.

"Let me think about it," Wang said, looked at the screen and the other table before he called.

Yixian Wang: A♥6♣ All in
Ben Richardson: K♦8♥

The superior hand preflop remained ahead on the Q♠6♥3♣4♣9♥ board and Wang doubled.

"You are really bad at these, Ben," Higor Seibel joked.

Anthony Hachem Eliminated in 14th Place (AUD 14,000)

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Anthony Hachem
Anthony Hachem

Anthony Hachem made it 200,000 to go and was called only by chip leader Hun Wei "Andy" Lee in the big blind. Following the Q♣7♥5♦ flop, Lee check-raised from 150,000 to 350,000 and Hachem flat-called. Lee checked again the J♠ turn and Hachem now made it 550,000 to go.

Lee went for the double check-raise and pushed all-in, Hachem called.

Anthony Hachem: A♦Q♦ All in
Hun Wei Lee: K♦10♦

Along with the open-ended straight draw, Lee also had the king at his disposal and hit one of them with the K♣ river to bad beat Hachem to the rail in 14th place. The hand also cemented his status as the run-away chip leader.

Hachem Dodges Bullets

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Joe Hachem raised on the button to 250,000, and Nektarios Dimitrakis made the call in the small blind. Dimitrakis quickly checked the K♠Q♠5♠ flop, where Hachem continued for 200,000.

Dimitrakis called and checked again on the 6♣ turn. Hachem checked back, and another pair of checks followed the 8♦ river.

Dimitrakis tabled A♠A♦, and Hachem let out a sigh of relief at not betting the river.

"I dodged a bullet there," said Hachem as he mucked, and Dimitrakis collected the pot.

Shijia Zhai Eliminated in 15th Place (AUD 14,000)

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Shijia Zhai

Hun Wei Lee made it 200,000 to go from the hijack and Michael Tomeny three-bet the cutoff to 600,000. Shijia Zhai on the button used one time bank before he called, both blinds and Lee folded.

The J♠9♦8♦ flop saw Tomeny push all-in and Zhai called after nearly depleting his 30 seconds to act.

Shijia Zhai: Q♥Q♠ All in
Michael Tomeny: A♠K♦

Zhai was ahead but fell behind with the A♥ turn. There was no further twist to the story as the blank 4♦ river ended Zhai's run in 15th place for AUD 14,000.

"Just give him the ace on the flop," he sighed on the way out.

Action was heads up between the blinds on the 6♠A♣Q♥ flop, where Fred Tschirsch led out from the small blind for 275,000. Nektarios Dimitrakis made the call in the big blind, and the 5♠ turn hit the felt.

Tschirsch moved all in, and was instantly called by Dimitrakis.

Fred Tschirsch: A♠K♥ All in
Nektarios Dimitrakis: 5♣5♦

Dimitrakis revealed his set of fives, claiming the pot before the Q♠ river completed the board. Tschirsch stood up and wished the table good luck on his way to the payout desk in 16th place.

Ben Richardson

There had been several all-in declarations but none of them resulted in a call after the dinner break. That changed when Ben Richardson raised to 200,000 in middle position and Yixian Wang three-bet to 550,000 in the hijack. It folded back to Richardson and he pushed for 1,875,000, which Wang called after getting an exact count.

Ben Richardson: J♠J♣ All in
Yixian Wang: 10♦10♥

The superior pocket pair remained ahead all the way on the Q♦6♣4♥Q♣3♥ board and Wang dropped below ten big blinds.

Lee Takes the Flop

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Ben Richardson raised from the hijack to 200,000, and Hun Wei Lee was the only caller in the big blind. Lee checked the K♥8♦4♦ flop, where Richardson continued with a bet of 160,000.

Lee took almost his entire 30-second clock before sliding out a check-raise to 460,000, earning the pot with no further action as Richardson let his hand go.

Hun Wei Lee

At the end of the previous level, Edward Hatzakortzian three-bet to 600,000 and then folded when Bobby Zhang four-bet jammed.

One table over, Vajra Castles raised and called a three-bet by Shijia Zhai to then check-fold a 7♥4♦2♠ flop to a shove as well. That left the following updated stacks for the new level with an average of just shy of 27 big blinds.
