Honours Even After Early Exchanges

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

It appeared as if Otto Richard was putting his chip stack to good use now the tournament has reached heads-up, but Sonny Franco has battled back to be where we were at the start of heads-up play.

Franco has already moved all in a couple of times perhaps in an attempt to force the issue, or perhaps to show the big stack that he isn't ready to be bossed about just yet.

Otto Richard raised to 800,000 on the button and Lozano Manzanares defended his big blind.

The flop came {3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Manzanares check-called a bet of 1,600,000.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} and Manzanares checked again. This time Richard bet 4,000,000 and the Spaniard check-raised all in for 9,600,000. Richard snap-called.

Otto Richard: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Lozano Manzanares: {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Manzanares was drawing dead to the set of Richard, with the {10-Diamonds} a formality. The Spanish player takes home €45,000 for his third place finish.

It folded to Otto Richard in the small blind who moved all in, putting Adrien Decramer to the test in the big blind. Decramer called and was at risk.

Adrien Decramer: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Otto Richard: {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

The flop came {k-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs} giving Decramer the lead in the hand. The turn was the {10-Diamonds} meaning Richard would have to hit one of the remaining Aces in the deck, or a four, to win the hand.

The river was the {a-Spades} and Decramer was eliminated.
