Boski Eliminated by Custodio

Level 12 : 1,500/3,500, 35,000 ante

According to our Portuguese colleagues, Aleksander Boski has been eliminated despite starting the day with 2.5x starting stack.

After coming through Day 0A with 250,000, his day had taken a turn for the worst. He was so short that shortly before his elimination he tripled up, but eventually got {9-Clubs}{8-} in on a three club board having paired his eights, only to be up against {a-Clubs}{a-} and he failed to improve.

His opponent Henrique Custodio sits on around average, with start-of-day chip leader Philippe Guillou still going strong with 380,000.

Lewis "Loves the Turn"

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A full board of {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} was out between Romain Lewis and Pierre Colombie.

With 80,000 chips in the middle, Colombie checked to Lewis who bet 100,000.

Colombie eventually folded and with a grin, Lewis showed {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} to reveal that he had in fact been playing the board.

"I love the turn," said Lewis in French as he raked in another pot.

Macdonnell Doubles With Aces

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Marc Macdonnell was getting a double up counted out by the dealer after his aces had come out best on a {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds} board.

Macdonnell's double was for 65,000 with already 80,000 in the middle. Nicolas Compingt's hand was already in the muck, but Macdonnell moved up over 200,000 with that crucial double.
