One Double, One Elimination

Level 31 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Filippo Lazzaretto was all in for 585,000 with {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} against the {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} of Raul Bello. The flop {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{q-Spades} flopped Bello dead to a chop, which was not forthcoming on the {7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} runout and he was left short.

Meanwhile Roman Volkov open-shoved for 900,000 and Yann Andrimanga called for slightly less.

"We're flipping mate," said Volkov as the players revealed {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for Volkov against {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for Andrimanga.

The flop was {3-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Volkov got to his feet and celebrated the {j-Diamonds} turn which gave him a straight. He was already shaking his opponent's hand gracioulsy as the {a-Diamonds} came on the river and Andrimanga was eliminated.

Hartmann Ousts Alcaide

Level 30 : 15,000/35,000, 35,000 ante

Shortly after doubling up Raphael Assidon on feature, Jose Alfonso Alcaide shoved from under the gun and was called by Tim Hartmann on the button.

Jose Alfonso Alcaide: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Tim Hartmann: {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

Hartmann was the table captain with just over two million chips but would need to spike an ace to send Alcaide to the rail. The flop came {5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, but the {a-Clubs} slammed the door and the {a-Hearts} turned the light out as Alcaide was eliminated.

Assidon Doubles Through Alcaide on Feature

Level 29 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Raphael Assidon moved all in for 580,000 from under the gun and Jose Alfonso Alcaide called in the cutoff.

Raphael Assidon: {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Jose Alfonso Alcaide: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Assidon would need to win a flip and a jack came on the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop to swing the hand in his favour. Alcaide picked up a gutshot straight draw on the {7-Diamonds} turn but the {q-Hearts} river was enough to double Assidon to over 1,000,000.
