Diaz Gets Shown A Bluff

Level 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,500, 3,500 ante
Guillaume Diaz
Guillaume Diaz

Hugo Saint opened to 7,000 from under the gun and was called by Guillaume Diaz from the cutoff. The big blind also called.

Saint continued for 8,000 on the {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop and was only called by Diaz. The Winamax Team Pro member then called a bet of 30,000 on the {4-Spades} turn. The {4-Clubs} river paired the board and Saint slid in a stack T-5,000 chips to put Diaz all-in.

Diaz eventually folded and as he did, Romain Lewis shouted "Show the bluff!"

Saint obliged and rolled over his {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for king-high. Diaz smirked and said "One-up," indicating he had king-queen.

Lewis Continues Climb

Level 15 : Blinds 1,500/3,500, 3,500 ante

Romain Lewis and Brahimi Messina were heads up in a hand that had 85,000 in the middle.

On the {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} board, Brahimi checked in the big blind. Lewis bet 78,500 and after around a minute, Brahimi folded to give Lewis the pot

Diaz and Therme Buy Back-in; Guillou and Lopes Among Latest Eliminations

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Guillaume Diaz, Jonathan Therme were among the entries during the dinner break, however Winamax Team Pro member Lopes has quickly been despatched from the event.

Also among the bust outs is 2019 WPO Dublin Main Event winner Philippe Guillou.

Domination No Problem for Joubert

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Dimitri Joubert moved all in for 38,000 from the button and was called by Frantisek Jirout from the small blind.

Dimitri Joubert: {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Frantisek Jirout: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Joubert was in a world of hurt but leapfrogged into the lead following the {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop. The {8-Spades}{2-Spades} completed the board and Joubert received a much needed boost.

Garcia Downs Bonnat

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Clement Bonnat jammed for 39,000 from the button and was called by Paul Garcia from the blinds.

Clement Bonnat: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Paul Garcia: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} gave Garcia a straight flush draw while he was still ahead. Bonnat could not pair up on the {10-Hearts} turn or {2-Hearts} river and busted.
